• CORPUS CHRISTI MASS & PROCESSION

      THURSDAY, MAY 30, 2013  -  6:00 PM

St. Thomas Aquinas will hold its second annual Corpus Christi Mass and Procession on Thursday, May 30 at 6:00pm. The entire community is invited to join us in this most glorious display of our veneration and belief that Jesus is present in the Eucharist.

Our celebration will begin with Mass in the Sanctuary at 6:00 PM.  At the conclusion of Mass, the Blessed Sacrament will be processed out of the church and onto the grounds.  The procession is led by our Altar Servers immediately followed by our First Communicants, who scatter flower petals in front of the Blessed Sacrament.  Deacons, Priests and Knights of Columbus follow with the Blessed Sacrament.  We encourage our parish apostolates to walk directly behind the Blessed Sacrament:  Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Lectors, Choir Members, Adorers, Scouts, Ladies of Regnum Christi, Catechists, Divine Mercy Cenacle, and all other parish apostolates and groups.  The church membership and guests will follow the apostolates.
