St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in College Station, Texas, seeks an experienced, educated individual committed to ensuring the overall development of the liturgical life of the parish, to successfully fill the role of Liturgy Coordinator. Acknowledging that liturgy and sacramental life are integral to the expression of our Catholic faith, the Liturgy Coordinator, under the supervision of the Pastoral Associate, is responsible for ensuring quality liturgical celebrations that are welcoming, engaging for the whole family in the worship and prayer life of the community, and that encourage service within the liturgies. The minimum requirement for this position is 5 or more years' experience leading liturgical ministry in a Catholic parish, or a master's degree in religious studies, Theology, or Liturgy. This is a full-time, onsite position that requires 30-40 hours of work per week, including working some early mornings, some evenings, and every weekend.

The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic, highly organized, creative, and service-oriented. The Event Coordinator performs a wide range of event coordination and development activities, along with administrative and office support tasks. Responsibilities include: Developing event timelines, planning and coordinating hospitality events, addressing resource needs, and scheduling and training parishioners who serve at special events. May be required to work on evenings, weekends, or holidays to provide program support.
